Beyonce

Beyonce was born on September 4, 1981. She is an African-American singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. In the late 1990's as lead singer of the group Destiny's child. Beyonce was originally managed by her father and also her mother was heavily involved in her development as an artist. Recently Beyonce was in the news for a controversial performance at the Super Bowl. I wrote about this in a previous story. Needless to say, she has every right to express herself and stand for social and political issues that negatively effect certain sections of the American population. I've been enjoying Beyonce's music for many years and I feel she is one of the best singers in the world at the moment.

In short, I really like Beyonce and wanted to take the time to write a brief story on her background. It is my small way of honoring her talent and as a person. Keep up the great musical work Beyonce- we all are very proud of you.
