The Art of Baking

Baking is an art. Baking could be used as food or art pieces. Baking typically takes place in an oven and if done with food it reduces the fat. Baking is a great way to cook things the correct way. The most common baked item is bread. Heat is gradually transferred from the surface of cakes, cookies, and breads to their center. Baking is related to barbecuing because the concept of using a masonry oven which is similar to a smoke pit. Bakinghas traditionally been performed at home by women. A person who prepares baked goods as a profession is called a baker. The first evidence of baking occured in Croatia dating back 6500 years. Bread baking began in Ancient Greece around 600 B.C.
